Encryption may fail to start on a heavily fragmented hard drive.
At the next attempt to connect the drives that were not encrypted, the encryption policy is applied correctly.
When more than one removable drives are connected to the computer, the encryption policy is applied only to one of the drives.
We do not recommend to format the devices during the process of their encryption.
